Christian Education

While schools all foster social skills and academics side by side, a Christian
education looks at students differently. First, students are children of God and
each is a precious gift to their family and our school community. Secondly,
academics are important, but developing the whole child – socially, emotionally,
and academically – is our main concern.

The vision of Yokohama Christian School reflects these values.

Our vision is to provide quality education in English, based on a Biblical
worldview for preschool through elementary-aged children. Our goal is to assist
our students to develop their God-given potential, unique abilities and
personalities. Our curriculum is designed for students whose first language is
English and/or who will continue in an English language educational setting.
