The 3- and 4-year-old class at YCS is the “Sprouts” class. Each year that the children are in the Sprouts class it is remarkable to see how they develop in language ability, social development, and academic preparedness.

Sprouts class combines 3- and 4-year-olds in a play-based setting that encourages exploration and discovery. Children build foundational academic skills—such as the alphabet, numbers, phonics, and counting—while also developing important life skills including social, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. The classroom features activity centers like art, reading, and sensory play, supporting hands-on learning. Teachers provide a nurturing environment to help each child gain confidence and engage with peers.
