Yokohama Christian School, Preschool Division is recognized by the Japanese government as an unlicensed childcare facility (認可外保育施設) which means we do not need to adhere to all of the Japanese childcare facility regulations, but have fulfilled the national requirements for parents to receive a government subsidy – the “Childcare and Child Education Subsidy” (幼児教育・保育の無償化).
