During summer vacation this year, the YCS administration deemed it necessary to resurface a portion of the play yard under the large play structure. We are thankful to have the expertise of YUC friend, Gerry Spencer. Gerry and Mr. Isaku spent the better part of a very rainy October finishing this project.

Gerry is not one for pictures, but we wanted to publicly thank him for being the brains (and brawn) behind this construction project. With his expertise, the students of YCS have a beautiful surface to play on that should last for years to come.

School Head
Ms. Alisha is the Head of School and is originally from Alaska. She holds degrees in international relations and education. She has three children who have all been educated at Yokohama Christian School. In her spare time, she enjoys exercise, reading, and getting together with friends.
